Robinson for Ohio 2012

More Video - David Robinson Speaks Out Against Senate Bill 5, from Oct 10, 2011.

Dear Friends,

Ohio’s greatest strength is its people. We have worked together for generations to build strong communities, centered around excellent public schools for our children. For decades, our work ethic, ingenuity, and sense of fairness created an economy with abundant, good jobs.

Today, many Ohioans are concerned that our legislators are putting politics before the people and putting their own self-interest before the interests of Ohio’s families. I share those concerns.

That’s why I joined millions of Ohioans last year in working to overturn Senate Bill 5. I was offended by the politicians who sought to deny working Ohioans a seat at the table. The issue was one of fairness, and that’s why we worked together to defeat SB5, ensuring that our teachers, police, firefighters, and other public workers will be treated with respect and dignity.

As a businessman, I know that you don't get things done by demeaning and dividing people. You succeed by working together to bring out the best in people, by creating win-win situations. We can keep and create good, sustainable jobs -- not by divisive politics, but by working together to build on Ohio's strengths.

I’ll work to restore civility to the Statehouse, and recommit us to excellent public schools. I’ll stand up for working and middle class families, and focus on what matters most to the people of Ohio.

That is my commitment to you. I am endorsed by the Franklin County Democratic Party, and I respectfully ask for your vote for State Representative in the March 6th primary election.

Best Regards,

David Robinson
Democratic Candidate for Ohio’s 21st House District
